Google Forms gives you the ability to capture information in a structured way, so you can immediately digitize your processes. Google Forms has a form builder that allows you to easily add questions to your form.

Form Approvals extends on the capability of Google Forms, turning each Google Form submission into an interactive approval workflow. Each time an approval is required, Form Approvals will send an email to your approver(s) with details of the request. At times however, approvers can be overwhelmed with too many emails.

Slack messages provide a great alternative to email.

Integrating with Slack is quick and easy. Simply create an email address for a channel or DM by following these steps:

1. From your desktop, open the channel or DM you'd like to send email to.
2. Click the channel or member name(s) in the conversation header.
3. Click the Integrations tab.
4. Select Send emails to this [channel] or [conversation].
5. Click Get Email Address.
6. Click Copy next to the email address.
7. Use the email address when adding a recipient within Form Approvals.
8. That's it! When a form submission is made, the add-on will send an email to the slack address and the message will appear in the channel or DM.

Note: Slack admins can manage members' ability to create email addresses for channels and DMs. If you don't see this option, find a Slack admin to ask for help.
